Today I just needed to find some stuff to make me feel like I'm not wasting my "walks".

I picked a park I go to every now and again, despite it's "hunted out" reputation.
What I was hoping was that the recent rains might give me an edge to find something deeper. I have
found a few good indicators in this park. A few early flat buttons even a large cent.

Well, to make a long story shorter, that aspect, (the deeper), didn't work today. But, I was still
enjoying myself. Finding clad and stuff. Then, I got this surface hit.

I was thinking about passing it up as it didn't sound all that good. The place is lousy with canslaw
and pull tabs.

I pinpointed and figured I could just about part the grass and find this can lid.

This is what I saw:

I do believe that I'm appreciating Fishy's choices more and more. :)

So, now, I won't tell you that you HAVE to vote banner on this, even though
it absolutely would look VERY good up top.

You don't have to vote, BUT, if you choose not to, well, you're on your own! :angel1:

Thanks for stopping by.

Nice crucifix . I am sure that the tag on top reads INRI if you look real close. Was lost now found.. by you!
HH

Yep, absolutely does say INRI. This can't be too old of a drop. The wood was soaked thru but it was on top, just under the grass. Interesting how large items wind up buried, ain't it.

I'd been found a long time ago. :) But, I couldn't figure a better sign to be delivered. I looked around me when I found this. The location made absolutely no sense at all. But, the reason did.

Thanks!

Nice Find..

Looks like one that a Priest would use.

Silver is good too.

Nice find my man. Congrats. GL&HH!
