I started out exploring the aspect of relic hunting because I
know what great potential there is for finding great stuff.

And....I feel I've learned a LOT about techniques in the fields.
But, it's really just not something I actually enjoy doing.

Maybe just getting too old for the amount of work it takes, (and
it DO take some actual WORK!) I have always been impressed by
just what the real relic hunters go thru to find the wonderful stuff
they share here.

So, after this hunt, I think I'm gonna shelve the idea for a while. It has taught
me a lot about my machine! Hopefully, I'll be able to use that on my regular
"walks".

Here's the latest hunt:

Most interesting piece to me. No clue. :dontknow:

I'm beginning to feel a bit like Blingy.

Would you believe this grate was over a foot and a half down!:BangHead:

All I saw while digging was a big rounded edge, brass or bronze, VERY deep
in VERY rocky ground! :BangHead: I just had to know! :dontknow:

Thanks for peeking folks and for all the education on this thing called
relic hunting. I'm glad somebody does it but it's just not for me.
At least, not for a while again. :dontknow:
