And Jefferson Davis, the Rosenbergs, lee Harvey,, ted kaczynski, Timmy mcveigh and the occupy movement, etc etc.

I think the occupy folks are looking for some help.

The left sure was embracing the occupy movement for awhile. Actually comparing it to "the Arab Spring". That seemed to fall flat after a seeing what they fostered.

I wouldn't say the left, the occupy movement were anarchists.

I have no problem being compared to Jefferson Davis at all..... The South was standing up for States rights, they were seeking the same course we sought from England in 1776....

Pelosi Supports Occupy Wall Street Movement
By JESSICA DESVARIEUX
WASHINGTON, Oct. 9, 2011

House Democratic Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said she supports the growing nationwide Occupy Wall Street movement, which began on the streets of downtown New York City in mid-September.

"I support the message to the establishment, whether it's Wall Street or the political establishment and the rest, that change has to happen," said Pelosi in an exclusive interview with ABC News "This Week" anchor Christiane Amanpour. "We cannot continue in a way this is not relevant to their lives."

Pelosi sees the protesters' anger stemming from unemployment, which remains above 9 percent.

Pelosi added that the failure of TARP, commonly known as the bank bailout, to add liquidity to the Main Street marketplace is fueling Americans' animosity towards Wall Street.

"The thought was that when we did that [pass TARP], there would be capital available and Main Street would benefit from the resources that went largely to Wall Street," said Pelosi. "That didn't happen. People are angry."

President Obama is hoping to remedy the struggling economy with his proposed $447 billion American Jobs Bill, which is a combination of tax breaks and spending on infrastructure. Obama has touted the bill as the country's insurance policy against a double-dip recession.

"We've needed jobs for awhile," Pelosi added. "What he [the president] is proposing is job creating. And it's really important for him to explain what this is about, or at least keep saying it over and over."

The proposed American Jobs Bill is still awaiting a vote on the Senate floor on Tuesday. Pelosi said she thinks that the bill will get the majority of Senate Democrats' support. But with a few Democrats still on the fence and significant Republican opposition, it's anticipated that the bill will not pass.

"Whether one or two members, Democrats, vote for it or not, we'll see," said Pelosi. "But they have to be allowed to bring the bill up. And the obstruction is not from the Democrats, it's from the Republicans."

The gridlock on Capitol Hill has the vast majority of Americans dissatisfied with Congress. Only 14 percent of Americans approve of Congress' performance, according to the latest Washington Post/ABC news poll released last Wednesday.

Pelosi said she includes herself in the group of Americans dissatisfied with Congress.

"Count me among those ... who object to the way Congress is conducting itself," said Pelosi. "We have a responsibility to try to find common ground."

At times, such common ground can seem to be a long shot. Last Wednesday, Republican Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., called the Occupy Wall Street protest a "growing mob."

Pelosi lashed back at Cantor, saying that American democracy allows for public expression.

"How they characterize someone who may disagree with them, that says more about them," said Pelosi.

Again I think you made it clear that you do not care for the federal cohesion of the United States of America and its governing document.

And no matter what anyone else thinks that is certainly your right to believe it.

Luckily there were people like my grandfather's grandfather and his three brothers who fought the war of southern treason to keep this great nation of the United States together.

Believe me, none of the founding fathers would call your view "patriotic" - none!!

Since we,re off topic, the civil war is a somber study for me. One topic that holds my interest being was the south properly represented in politics?.
Particularly in numbers of representatives.

Remind us once again what branch of the military service you served in, where were you under fire at for this country?

I served in the US Airforce, on board B-52s over Nam with anti-aircraft fire and Sam missles.....

DO NOT EVER QUESTION MY LOYALITY TO THIS COUNTRY!

I swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of The United States from all enemies foreign and domestic, an oath that you never took, I will take that oath to my grave as do most military members. My loyality lies with the Constitution of The United States, it's Bill of Rights and with America, it does not lie with any one man in the white house or any politician attacking our Bill of Rights.

My great grand father and his brothers also fought in the war of Northern Agression, they fought for the South. My grand father fought in WW1 in the trenches, My father in WWII as a tail gunner on B-17s over Europe and in Korea War. I had 4 uncles who fought during WWII as well, one as a paratrooper in 101st Airborne division dropping behind enemy lines during the D-Day assault, another uncle was with General Wainwright in the Philippines and in the Bataan Death March, he was lucky enough to survive prision camp and the other two island hopped in the Pacific serving as Marines... I and another brother served during Nam, and he also served in Desert Storm before dying of complications of Agent Orange......

Every single one of them before their deaths were extremely unhappy with the direction this great country has taken..........

I had an old Army Staff Seargant explain this to me once, a very close friend I lost a couple of years ago (in fact, I'm typing this on a keyboard he gave me before he passed) but you might want to explain this to the poster you quoted:

When does that oath expire?

And defending the constitution of the United States of America against domestic enemies would have meant defending it against traitors looking to secede from the United States of America.

And defending the constitution of the United States of America against domestic enemies would have meant defending it against traitors looking to secede from the United States of America.

It means defending the Constitution against all attacks and that includes anyone in the government attacking the Constitution........

Obviously you can read, I advised you to read my post, do not question my loyality to this country again....

NEVER! I will take it to my grave!

Thank you! That should help some folks understand why What's his name wants to classify Vets as terrorists.

HONORING THEIR OATH!

Apparently What's his name thinks it was something optional.

And they DID! In the CONFEDERATE WAR...
