Real Estate has slowed to a snail's pace and values have dropped dramatically, so it may be a while yet.
However, if my value drops, so will those in Northern California, so the net result will be about the same.
I assume that you are discussing the fires inland where you live. So far, we have not heard of any major fires along the coast near Eureka and Ferndale.
Trust me, when I have dumped the mountain home, I'll be on the first plane north to tie up the farmland with a 1031 Exchange.
