odd metal objects around the perimeter of an old graveyard

me and my friend found these on the outside of a fence around a graveyard any ideas? "the too oval pieces"

Top right, I found one of those also, and assumed it was off of a farm wagon, but I don't know where it would have been used on the wagon, although I thought I'd seen one in the past, but can't remember when or where. Hopefully someone on here will be able to tell us. Mine was found out on the desert along an old wagon road.

my friend also said it may have came from a wagon also, I'm gonna cheaked on the wagon assumption, and see if I can find out... thanks for the input... :-)

Yep,from the tongue of a wagon or carriage. Was a long tapered piece. They were used as a wood reinforcement to prevent splitting. Should be able to see where the bands were hammer welded together by a blacksmith.

I believe to pieces are a wagon wheel cap and a brace for the wagon tongue or chaste... thanks for Your help... :-)
