Hey all, just joined OC 49ers and heard some
good things about their claims and members. Any info on the Mojave claims would be great. Really want to try some out dry washin out on the claims. I love dry washing. Any tips, areas, or info would be helpful! Thanks. PM me if u want to. This is from this last weekend in Mojave desert. Not so great this trip but had a blast.

I best start eating mo garlic! Hey John, you have any good spots in the desert !?!!.. Lol. Need a secret place I can find dozens and dozens of Ozs... Haha, we all can dream right! Started on the BLM lr2000 yesterday. Talked to TimC on the phone. Much love for the help Tim! Go figure the area I like to work or close by,is all California conservation land or some crap. Cant claim it! the club claims that are there mys have been there prior to making the land off limits to miners. Hmm, why would this little spot of desert holding gold bearing dirt be a conservative? There's nothing there but dirt and bones. And gold... Go figure. Conservation my ass...

IM HERE IN SO CAL i have ben wanting to get back into 4 whelling and buy a dry washer . my truck has seen 400 miles in 5 yrs but now with all this VALLEY FEVER im reading about , im not sure . So its in the ca. desert too ?

I'm almost there Mellow. I got 4 of eight manifold bolts off, the other four are soaking in PB blaster.
Yeah, it's in the desert, which is east of the Sierras starting in Canada, down to Mexico, and over into Texas. Yeah it's a pretty big desert.

Well come on bro! Get that rig fixed. Put some good shocks cause where we go can be a bit bumpy gettin to the spot. Well worth it... You'll have a good time. A good bunch of guys, were all a bit off our rockers so you'll fit right in! Hehehe.

10 /4 Scott,
got another bolt off.
I have a date with a welder this Sunday.
He is confident if I can give him three full pieces he can weld it.
It looks like I will take it off in one piece.
So the odds are good it'll be mounted by Monday.
Due to this occupation to repair it's good I'm not working right now.
I have been able to take my time and give a full inspection of the entire engine.
But dammit I want it done yesterday!
Any contact yet with your OC 49ers?

Nothing from the 49ers but i still know a few good claims up there that I like.

I do want to check out and prospect the 49 claims out there at some point. Maybe we check it out for a day... Who knows.. So much dirt so little time! Hehe
