Hey everyone -- some intrigue? The Minelab website has been down for hours...
Steve

They are up and running now i was just in there site.It looks like they just turned off the lights and went home
Something must have gone wrong in the detector lab when they were testing the worlds most powerful, but dangerous metal detector, and they temporarily slipped into the "Equinox Zone", a place where you can make the greatest finds on your bucket list, but there is nobody to share the news with. A detectorist's worst nightmare. Thank goodness they were able to make it back into this dimension. That's what happens when you are not careful with technology more dangerous than what was used for Hot Tub Time Machine. Safety First!
Good catch, Jason. Wow. Link still on the Equinox page though but it is indeed dead. Nice. Marketing must have s-canned it based on pre-sale numbers. Most folks must have reserved an 800 by an overwhelming majority for them to take it off the boards. Too funny. Maybe they figured that with the price for the 600 so low, people would just skip over it and get the more capable Go Find 60 instead and save a few bucks. Lol.
Do you have an Equinox pre ordered?
you are WAY overthinking this!
Looks like my prediction is RIGHT on schedule and I was not overthinking anything after all

At least one Tnet user received one already.
