ObamaCare To Begin Automatically Canceling Private Health Insurance Policies

Hey jbean, glad to see you again. I hope your right gunsil, that they wouldn't cancel private insurance. Instead of leaving, I prefer to just spit out of my mouth, what some try to cram down my throat, thank you.

No stocky, that young person, who has a job, that does not OFFER health insurance, he/she should have some recourse program available. There are programs available right now, and many are not aware of them,(plus the hoops to jump through to get them, are almost worst than whatever sickness you have and many are not aware of the programs).
The ones who are offered insurance, and just don't want to waste their money or think it's needed or necessary, that could be another argument.

I've also wondered if when the new insurance stuffs is inacted, can we cancel our PIP auto insurance? (Not that everyone participates in that program either, reason we have uninsured motorist insurance) :laughing7:
Hey, it's been fun. Ya'll have fun. Cat out......:cat:

about those free drugs by the bush admin, and just one americans experience with the gov systems

my mom went through breast cancer ( she is a C survivor) 10yr
she chose a mastectomy, the C was the Invasive ductal carcinoma, and the chemo
and radiation would have been hard on her bad heart,( trip bypass 3yr b4 the C) and pacemaker
her ins. the BC sheild dropped her after the trip bypass, we were struggling to buy the drugs needed
it was something called a spend it down, it $$ value was about 700$ a month + the % of drug cost
= 900$, total cost 1600$ and sometimes a few hundred more
a medicare medicaid ombudsman, put us on to the free,( not so free) drugs, but the real pocketbook
saver was,a young man, in line, in front of me, at the pharmacy,he bought one wks worth of meds i
was not aware you could by your meds that way, now all the elec, gas ,water, ect bills could be paid
in full, anyway im very thankful for whatever, subsidies, taxes paid that program, things are alot better
now, but there still, is an ins issue,we cant buy mom any extra,bc they refuse to cover, and the new
changes that are coming, are going to require, tons of red tape and paper work,if she needs any
change in her treatment, and out of pocket % is prob going to go up 110% or more, from experience
i know this one size fits all approach to the ins probs in this country is not going to work,i know my
situation is prob in the extreme catogory, ive never looked for any stats on it, and sorry to say i dont
have any idea how to fix the ins. probs, havent read all yet,and have been reading up on it for months
but i do think the middleage, and the senior pop, are going to suffer from the changes, geezze we only
have a pop of about 400mill,i see that pop going down to 300mill within 20yr, why? no value on life
unless it has a BIG $ tag, i know im a little cynical, i guess my experience, made me think that way LOL
we have to really think about how and what changes we want, not just throw it out there, and then the
politicians, go yes right and jump on it for votes

Vt. has been instituting , a form of Obama care, and the health exchanges that take over Jan. 1 of this coming year.
Already this week the "Board" has denied the Vt. Health CO-OP, from obtaining a permit to operate saying poor operating procedures and not enough cash on hand for survivability. It was determined that you need $9 mill. to be solvent, the co-op only had $27 mill. on hand! The problem seems to be a letter to the Board from BC/BS, the company in line to administer the single-payer portion, and they are summarily crushing the competition. I really look forward to mandated health care, it should really make things much easier. I will hazard a guess that the Congress who passed this monstrosity of a law, still haven't read what they passed!
