ObamaCare To Begin Automatically Canceling Private Health Insurance Policies

Infowars.com
May 30, 2013

Remember how Obama said if you liked your healthcare plan you could keep your healthcare plan? Yeah? Well, never mind. He didn’t really mean it. Start watching your mail because within the next few months ObamaCare is going to start automatically canceling private healthcare policies – whether you like it or not.

What Obama really meant to say was – you can keep your own individual healthcare policy as long as it meets my approval. And under Obamacare, if your policy doesn’t meet his federal requirements you’re not going to have any say in the matter – your insurer will automatically cancel your policy.

Ostensibly, the federal minimum insurance requirements are meant to protect consumers with a limit of $6,400 for copayments and out-of-pocket expenses. If your current policy doesn’t provide this coverage then your provider will be expected to change your policy so it’s compliant – never mind the fact that you can’t afford to pay for the additional coverage.

“You’re going to be forcibly upgraded,” said Bob Laszewski, a health care industry consultant. “It’s like showing up at the airline counter and being told, ‘You have no choice, $300 please. You’re getting a first-class ticket, why are you complaining?’”

And this is second amendment / guns how??

Show on tonight

Manhunt on nova. Should be of real interest for anyone interested in modern surveillance technology etc. an entire story about how they caught the bombers. Best.

Is this 2nd amendment /guns? How?

Yup and I think Jeff just put up quite a few posts and locked quite a few threads saying to not make political posts. You do whatever you want though.

Stocky take no offense But have you ever once agreed with anything a conservative said? Or do you work for CNN and have nothing to do?:laughing7:

And so the adventure in tyranny continues. Obama "forced" care today, Obama liberal appointed judges sweeping away the 2nd amendment tomorrow. That next election needs to hurry while we still have a country...

I believe this was Jeff's exact quote....

No it don't work that way.

second amendment thread, is for second amendment discussion only IMO.

if TH , whom I consider in full charge in there, is willing to allow off topic posts,
that is his prerogative, But I will not feed it from everything else,
unless it's a misplaced second amendment post of course.
Sorry

sorry posted in wrong thread

Yup and I think I replied that as long as it is anti Obama it will be just fine to post on the 2nd amendment thread. I guess that's a correct assumption.

Why is this Anti Obama ? I take it as information that someone finally read it. Even O admitted he didn't know whats in it. To me it falls under the Watch dog part.

I'd say anything that shows how they lie or twist facts, or show that this administration just doesn't know the facts, should be part of this "watchdog" forum. They are using the same techniques/ignorance to limit our rights and ALL of these other screw-ups, i.e. healthcare, Benghazi, IRS, phone tapping and all of the dumba$$ things they have said about "assault" weapons just helps to prove this administration, ALL of it, has no place governing anywhere other than, maybe, Mexico.

Xlt I know you are not familiar with the finance industry but I worked for an investment bank, not a commercial bank. I made my money investing in stocks and financing companies to grow. Do you have a problem with capitalism?

Somehow, I get the feeling, if the big o cuts off BC/BSs', UHCs', and the other big boys' income, in the way of premiums(ie, money in their pockets),
they'll be looking to chop him off at the knees, quick!
Not to mention, this seems like total tyranny, or is that just me feels that way?

We got enough problems with our Social Security and Medicare programs....... we need another headache.... er..... I mean program?

Not a lot of folks complained when bush gave free/cheap drugs to everyone?? I guess that was ok?

I dunno....... big pharma didn't kick and scream over losing pennies, but if he had of given away their expensive costly drugs for free, majorly affecting their pocket books, they may have put up a fight?
I also think, 'follow the money trail', whose pockets are getting lined, where, and why. That may explain much.

No one got lined, the cost came right out of our TAX $s every year. A freebie to the AARP folks to buy their vote. I guess it's ok when the old get all their entitlements more more but the poor, children etc. then that raises a big stink? A little bit hypocritical??

I may not be following your line of thoughts, stocky, I don't feel I'm being hypocritical.
They cheap free meds are given to anyone, regardless of age. Besides soc serc and medicare, we have programs for poor, sick, disabled, and childrens. They all seem to have flaws, but I wouldn't feel it right to stop the programs and/or punish the ones that don't abuse it, because of the ones that do.

Imho, I do not feel that O or the government is truly looking out for ppls best interest. They, like most politicians before them, care only about themselves, and what they can milk the system for. They don't care about any of us little ppl, but you can BET, they wine and dine the big business and socialist elite! ( I got friends, they don't buy seats at the presidential dinners, they buy tables) because their business and/or industry sways voters, and they are getting some sort of return, be it tax breaks/credits, kickbacks, or just to vacation or ride in air one or camp david. (rich ppl have odd indulgences, I find)

I feel it is an infringement of my rights, to be force fed a program, that no one even knows if it will work, when I already have a perfectly good program in place.
Would it not be hypocritical to not allow the insurance companies to capitalize the markets? Or would that be a monopoly?
Maybe that's why government wants to take away the insurance companies business? They do seem a little power hungry,
wouldn't you say?

I definitely Wasn't calling you specifically a hypocrite. I'm saying that the folks who feel its fine for the government to run the massive socialist Medicare program yet does not want the government to provide others with health care are being hypocritical. I completely agree with you that any and all fraud should be stamped out with no exceptions. But if your a young worker just starting off and your company does not offer you insurance I have no problem with there being another option. Should that person go without healthcare??

Massachusetts has had a Mitt Romney version of the new health care laws, and it seems to have worked for some years now. You can have any private insurance you want. I don't think the new national one will mean you can't keep your own insurance, I think the blind uber-conservatives have that all wrong. And don't forget that although Obama sponsored this law it was enacted by the whole senate and congress, NOT by Obama, he only had to sign what the people voted for. Like the old rednecks used to say, "If you don't like it you can always leave"!!!
