I cut them from a thin piece of plastic drink jug using the rubber washers for a pattern. They were just a bit tight so I sanded them down a bit. The material you use needs to be pretty thin. Put them in the shaft first and the rubbers on top so they touch the coil.What did you use for the spacer behind the tear drop washers?
Mine were snug to so I added some dielectric grease on them and it slid between the ears snugly but that way I know I don’t have to tighten them so tight and they hardly bend at the perfect tension.I cut them from a thin piece of plastic drink jug using the rubber washers for a pattern. I'm going to move forward with the Equinox purchase - on the fence between the 600 and 800.
Now just have to come up with the funds and justify the purchase to the wife!
