If I could only find the car that goes with the key, that is... Hit a local park with a rodeo ground for a short hunt today. Found the Lexus key, a munched wristwatch, a spur rowel, and strangely enough, a 1994 Australian $1.00 coin. The Aussie dollar was in the bull chute at the rodeo ground! Better than a big goose egg! Happy hunting to all, Sub 8-)

Maybe some cowboys lucky piece. Congrats.

The key belonged to some cowboy's girlfriend. Cowboys drive pickup trucks.:laughing7: Tony

Some of those laser cut keys with the chips aren't cheap. Somebody was prob bummed to lose that. Hope you find that car bud lol

Better find more than that, if you're gonna drive a Lexus, you're gonna need a LOT more just for the insurance!!! ;)

Glad you got out!

Glad you were able to hunt, still snowed in here in MA. The Lexus key is cool.

looks like you found a riders lucky coin also, wonder if the lad was born in 1994

Jamey, That is the first thing I though of when I found it...great minds. (I hope the bull didn't win the round.)

Just a query to the sales rep one time and they quoted $600-800 to replace the master chip/key, now that would be from a keyless push button ignition type model.

I had a BMW and I remember they said "don't lose that key". Nothing cheap on a vehicle. I crashed my Tahoe awhile ago and their was $9000 worth of damage. Glad I have good insurance

$9K that sounds like damage was just past the plastics, it's crazy what parts are worth when there's damage. That amount of damage on a Tahoe up here it better be a recent model or it's a right off.

Well it's an 05 but it's a z71 with every useless option that I don't need lol. Hard to watch DVDs when you're driving. But heated leather seats and mirrors and all that crap. I think they thought it was going to be about 7k but when they got into it I said hey make sure you check the shocks and check the airbag sensor and a few other things that were screwed up before the accident. Let's just say I got a little more than I should have but I think the insurance company can handle it
