Now I am a believer !! There are silver caches out there !! 5 and 3/4 lbs worth!

very nice! wonder why it way burryed in the first place? anyway very nice indeed!

I skipped from page 13 to now and all I can say is wow...I hope in the in last few years since you posted this you found something better, but I bet you did not...congrats man!!!

I'd better start digging those overloaded signal, in the high numbers! Super find! Congrats!

Think about it: After the initial excitement, how are you going to feel about MDing? Do you hang it up, that is, can't top it? Keep on hunting hoping you can top it, but really knowing how hard it would be? I don't know, but I think I would like to have that dilemma!! Lol.

MAJOR eyeroll on this one.
Topsoil on a 90% silver coin collection, fantastically called a 'cache'.

This sort of thing has always been a problem with the 'banner finds'.

To those just now posting banner votes. Almost 6 year old thread , it has already made banner in 2009

Hello MaineRelic,

What a fantastic find!

Regards,

Im in Skowhegan, if your ever in my area get ahold of me I dont have a detector but I know some good spots and all the woods like the back of my hand. In the spring time I check the gorge of the kennebec and find all kinds of stuff under big rocks and in low catches in the gravel. The kennebec flooded hard in the 80's and washed quite a bit of valuables away, they are still washing up after every melt in the spring.
