A few guilford types. I'll load more when I get them rounded up. I hate finding what I have found.

I have a great round base quartz one somewhere. I'll post as soon as I can!

All of these are variants of guilford points. The straight base at the bottom. I still can't put my finger on my rounded one. I won't sleep a wink! Lol!

Nice assortment for sure. I would like them also if I found ones like that. Morrow mtn is one I like. I have a perfect quartz one. It was a killer point.Literally as it is documented in Archeological reports as being the knife used to dispatch foes? Not sure what mine is. Seems Matt said that it may have been poorly crafted one.

Have you posted that piece in the last 6 months or so? Since I have been a member? If not, I don't know where, but I have seen a point just like it. The guilford has basal thinning l. I have a couple that I didn't post because they look so close to morrow mt points. The difference is the ground stem. On our farm, it seems only guilford and morrow mt. Cultures lived there. I need to take the tractor down there before every thing is lost to a sloppy logging clean up.

I posted the morrow mtn the guilford a couple years ago. Yeah watch the loggers. I just had 400 acres select cut and they made a mess. Had to put in water bars every where. It is still a nightmare. They only took timber up to the fork and left the rest as pulp prices are low. They were after the white oaks. I hate timber sales but this land was ready to be cut. almost 60 years since the last cut. Good news is some of the skids might reveal some flint. Thanks for your help. Good post.

I have found a round base guilford that I found. It matches this area.

I still gotta find mine. It's bothering me. You know that feeling kind like a song stuck in your head, or you can't remember a person's name. Feels like that. It may be in a frame at work. I think it is. I appreciate the compliment. By the way, you and Larson are doing great. I have even noticed new members in the couple days you guys have been doing this. Keep up the good work.

What type of stone was that TnM? Looked kinda green
