Could be a (ninja star), or maybe one of the blades from a paint striping machine...
It's a machine that strips paint, etc, off of concrete. It has a bunch of blades that look similar to that one that rotate and knock the paint off of the floor...

Well that's what my wife thought also. However I did some real quick research on the internet and those seem to have fewer 'blades'. I'm more inclined to think that it's from apaint stripping machine, but I'd like to hear comments again on why those that think it's a throwing star think that way.

they make many different styles of throwing stars. some with only 4 points,others with 6 or even 8.
