Finally rained!
Got out Sunday and detected a public area.
Out popped this thing, and I had no idea other than I could tell it was a silverpiece.
Assumed it was European and did not look at it further until much later in the day.
It was nice to be able to cut a plug again--though this was 2"-3" down (shallow).
Before the rains came I did some hunting in places that did not require me to a cut a plug out.
Beaches, volleyball courts, the woods,etc.
Found a bunch of clad and junk jewelry. Pic below:
Trying like heck to get on a private piece of land. I know all the old places in my locale, getting on them is not as easily done.
Maybe next month.

Congrats on getting out and enjoying the hobby. Hope you get permission soon, would love to see you post some bucket listed coins from those sites.
