So I went to a friends house to help him tear out plaster and replace it with sheet rock he just purchased this house it was built in the late 1800s he had a very bad smell coming from the wall in the family room he tore out the wall and found a dead baby possum he also found water damage hence the remodel so I’m tearing out base board an out pops this coin not really a coin but still neat it’s for the centennial of the first mayor of Middletown ct look like it says Jarez Hamlin I’ll have to look it up and see if that’s right I love the area I live in it’s right in the corner of the state I have mass in my back yard and ny 8 miles away and loaded with history B5221715-DE4A-4D2E-845A-DFAEC0FB2CD8.jpeg83B84158-A6F8-4F38-8BD2-AADB97DEEF1D.jpeg
