don't bother running the bead of caulk or silicone around the coil cover to keep stuff out. It simply doesn't work... and stuff gets inside anyway. And more importantly it makes it a ton harder to remove the coil cover.

If you use a coil cover, clean it regularly. if not, bypass it completely and use the epoxy
