not a friend of the coil cover

Luckily for me there is not any black sand here...
I have thought about running a bead of white caulking around the edge of the coil cover to help keep dirt out....

don't bother running the bead of caulk or silicone around the coil cover to keep stuff out. It simply doesn't work... and stuff gets inside anyway. And more importantly it makes it a ton harder to remove the coil cover.

If you use a coil cover, clean it regularly. if not, bypass it completely and use the epoxy
