🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Not a clue what this is but maybe Roman?

I found this in pasture at a place that has only ever produced post medieval relics and coins.
The area isnt known for having any Roman form but I just can't help think it is Roman....something worn too but how and where again no clue.

It's a broken Sword Belt Hanger. Circa 16th C.
