First day of vacation in North Myrtle Beach SC. I got out at first light for a few hours. Grand total was 3 rings.....all junk....lots of tent stakes, fish hooks and pennies. I managed one Italian 18gram SS bracelet. Wife has already layed claim......so I guess no profit on this one. :icon_scratch: I tried the baking soda and hot water thing to remove some of the tarnish.....I still have a way to go to get it clean. Thanks for looking...

Still working hard to find some gold though...

Great looking bracelet... I will there on Thurs of this week, so save a little for me..GL

I can assure you there will be plenty of tent stakes left...

Nice heavy silver.

Pretty sweet find! Bet it looked good in the scoop. Enjoy the rest of the vacation and look forward to seeing some more finds.

Awesome braclet,If you have a rock tumbler and some cleaning powder It does a great job after you get the black off.:icon_thumleft:

I can see why your wife would claim it, beautiful, WTG:icon_thumleft:

A tumbler was a necessity for me here since they don't have "coinstar" machines. You HAVE to take the coins to the bank clean to cash them in, although I've known of a few poachers who have taken their dirty, crusty vacation loot to the casinos and cashed in. For giggles after I cleaned last years coin finds I threw some silver rings and bracelets into the tumbler and there was quite a difference. I'm sure the folks who do the electrolysis get a better end product but I'm hesitant to jerry rig something that has to be plugged into the wall.

If you go with a tumbler, do pennies seperate. They'll turn everything inside coppery looking.

Looks like you had an overall good vacation.

wrap the pan you are using with aluminum foil and it seems to clean the silver faster and better. Congratulations on the bracelet!!!
