Norman Lear's Classic TV shows being rebooted...

I don't watch a lot of TV these days.
But I do prefer to Binge watching Episodes of Comedies & Dramas that interest me.

Simply because I dislike having to wait a week for the next episode.
My memory of what happened last time fades after awhile :tongue3:

I'm just now watching the Xfiles.
When it was new series I avoided it.
Bad part it's on a Local station. and they apparently avoid showing certain episodes
which frustrates me anyway and it's only on 2 to 3 times a week

Back when we watched a series (like Wagon Train) in episodes, we'd forget them. Now we have the complete series, have watched it one time all the way through, and now seem to remember them! :BangHead:

Guess there's something to be said for selective memory. :occasion14:

Bea Arthur made Maude. You simply can not recreate that character with another actress. Nor could you recreate I Love Lucy, because Lucy was one of a kind.

I read where The Honeymooners are under consideration to do a remake. Leave it alone ! Zero imagination.

Honeymooners was great, Jackie Gleason was great and Art Carney was funny as hell in it too. I still watch it even now, on every Sunday night on MeTV.

Honeymooners.webp
