there is not a new version as far as software or firmware but the new Legends coming from the factory will have new hardware, the new hardware will be a upgraded carbon fiber middle shaft and new arm cuff design as well as all the new Legends coming from the factory will include the new LG30 coil and will also have version 1.11 already installed in it

so what Bart means by current version is all the old hardware

Thanks. Went looking and found that info last night. Other than a bigger coil not much new there. I don't think a bigger coil is going to help me get skunked at the beach any better. When I can find a penny, on edge, a foot down in the sand, I'm okay with that. Unfortunately that was it after 2 hrs on a Vero beach yesterday. What I need is better technique, or better locations, or better luck.
And people are really complaining because they have already purchased one, before the changes came out, and didn't get these upgrades?! I am guessing they want them for free now as well. I mean I might be happy to take advantage of a discounted coil, but how can you be upset with a company trying to improve their product. Maybe I should have waited for the Legend with built in video, and trigger actuated automated swing.

Actually what Dilek said which I am happy with is Nokta is going to be offering those of us that purchased the Legend already if we want to purchase the LG30 coil Nokta is going to throw the new upgrade carbon fiber middle shaft and the newly designed arm cuff in for no extra charge (so Free) of charge, but if you only want the new Carbon Fiber Middle shaft and arm cuff the cost of those two upgrades will be $39 I believe

no other company that I know of has ever offered to do something like Nokta is doing where they are giving you free upgrades just because they are upgrading a detector or deals on the updated hardware, if someone knows of anther manufacturer i would like to know which other manufacturer has, this is what makes Nokta such a great company in my opinion, I will be purchasing one of the LG30 coils to get the upgraded middle carbon fiber shaft and new arm cuff and purchasing one set of the middle carbon fiber shaft and arm cuff so I will have both my Legends updated to the new Legend coming out

and here is the problem with people complaining Dilek has been saying what I just stated for a couple of months now, and apparently no one wanted to hear what she was saying that is the gotta have it now group that can not wait, they have to go out and purchase before anyone else just so they can say (hey look at me and look what I have) LOL
I purchased the LG24 because I did not like the feel of the LG15 so I picked up the LG24 I was going to pick up the LG30 also but then Dilek posted up videos stating Nokta was going to do something for those of us that had already purchased our Legend or Legend's so I held off to see what Nokta had planned.

Coil will be regular price around $130 - 150 with free shaft and arm rest, and you can get it through any dealer. Just provide your serial number, but I don't think it starts until sometime next month.

The cost I have seen for the LG30 is $152.95 at all the dealers I have checked, so if you subtract the $39.95 cost of just purchasing the mid carbon fiber shaft and new arm cuff that means you will get the LG30 coil for $113.00

yep guess it was not the brightest thing to jump on the pre order, I did the same thing but oh well, I personally do not have any regrets about purchasing the Legend though

my next purchase will be the new Quest V80 when it comes out
