While waiting out Milton's fury here on the Treasure Coast I started looking through some stuff stuck in a drawer and found a little bag of silver dollars! I'm more of an accumulator than a collector, so I thought I'd throw them on here and see if anything got a second glance from you folks who actually know coins. Don't worry , I wont be disappointed even if they are only worth a dollar each. The 1880 is valuable to me because I got it as a reward for perfect attendance in elementary school. I have no idea why I have so many 1921's.
Milton was not fun. We were in the midst of those tornadoes out in front before he even made landfall. We were absolutely being held in God's palm. We heard, but were spared at least 2, and had 4 within a 1 mile radius of our home. The 2 that struck Spanish Lakes were just a little outside that circle. Thanks to FP&L and all the crews from literally all over the country we were only without power for 3 days. Just enough time to clean out the junk drawer.

Nice collection (or accumulation)!

They're worth quite a bit more than that. The 1921's are currently worth around $30, and the 1880, around $40.

to the right person, you may get $50 each for any of them.

Thanks for all those replies. Certainly worth more than I would have expected. I also found in that bag a not so old dollar and couple of other miscellaneous coins. The good luck coin looks like it was sure rubbed a lot.

I may have posted the good luck coin previously. Take care out there.20241012_212300.jpg

Glad you're OK. Must have been frightening to be in such a melee and feeling helpless.
There were a great many 1921 silver dollars (about 90 million I think) and perhaps that is why you have so many of that date. I do too.

Nice looking Morgan's, but nothing rare or valuable. Average would be around $27.00 $30.00 apiece if you sold them to a coin shop. You may get a little more from someone who buys silver.

This is the Spanish Lakes Country Club tornado taken by someone headed south on US 1.Screenshot_20241010_125203_Messages.jpg
