Any guesses. Found them in the same area. There was a flag pole near by. Thought it was a piece of a outdoor water nozzle, but don't think so.

Whatever they are they appear to have served the same purpose even though design is different.Id think its something to do with the flagpole perhaps ? The holes look custom made for rope.

Hi, I have a 26' sailboat, and sailboat sails sometimes have "sail slugs" sewed to them, that look similar to what you've found. The round or cylindrical part goes into the slot in the mast. I'm thinking maybe the flag post has a slot these could fit into, with these sewed to the flag, with the raising lines attached to the holes? Good luck, Niffler
