I built my own design wooden sluices and ran concentrates through them from Lynx Creek, which gave me color but I had my doubts that my designs were catching all the gold.

Last weekend, I went to the Agua Fria after buying a brand new Keene A51 and ran about 10 buckets of material from a hole that looked promising, but had very little black sand and nothing in any of my test pans.

However, after I did my clean out, I got one tiny speck of gold but a whole lot of shotgun BBs; something I've only found one or two of in my homemade sluices...

It gave me hope that once I get into the gold, the Keene will hold onto it...

Is my assumption correct; that a sluice catching lots of lead BBs should also catch the gold????

Yes, you may assume that, for sure. You should be doing MUCH better from the Lynx, though. It is considered the best creek for gold in AZ. TTC
