Wow nice find Nana that badge is really cool, I hope you get to go back to the site and go over it again now that the pop tops have been removed maybe you will find something a little deeper. HH :D

yours is definately a driving medal.
Good finds.

Whew! :D Was beginning to think someone was following me around planting all this stuff for me to find! LOL Remember that trip to the beach....and the first find was a bullet! :P I am glad to hear that it's a driving medal! ;D

Thanks yall!!!!

Great hunt, Nanners. That medal is neat.

Now do a grid of the yard. Mark off an area like 15' X 15' and then hunt it one direction and go over it again in the opposite direction. You'll be amazed at what you'll get.

Keep it up, you're doing great!

Good job nana!

Willie D got it right, your badge is a military drivers award. They were awarded for so many accident free miles driven, I received one in the military. The small ringlets at the bottom would have held a smaller plate attached to the driver award for more accident free miles driven, something like 50,000 miles would have been the next award, then 100,000 etc. HH and your finds are getting better, Mike

Great finds Nana, If you ever get up to North Carolina we would love to have you hunt with us and maybe get ya a few of our bullets....HH.....Bill

Some neat finds. I wonder what it would take to restore that car? ;)

Also, just noticed your dog winking at me - very cool 8)

Very nice Nana. I have one of those badges you found. They look like they have some type of gray on the front of it. It should be sterling. Mine was marked and was also missing the bar that would have said what the badge was. Your doing alot better.

Keep up the good work
