Yes, its true. Today I am one year older, and my wife told me to spend the morning any way I wanted to. That was easy for her to say, since I spend every Sunday morning detecting! I am still hitting the park where they are doing dirt work, and this is my 5th weekend in a row. The tally so far, is a 1907 Barber Half, 1921 Buffalo Nickel, 1943 and 44 Mercs, a dozen Wheats, and today's find is keeping the streak alive. I had been there around 2 hours when this beauty of a Seated Dime showed up under my coil. Its an 1875 S, with full Liberty on the shield. It is the most detailed Seated coin I have found to date. It has some gray toning on it, that I will leave alone. I don't like to shine my silvers. Looks like I'll have to spend a 6th weekend out there next Sunday. Temp was 24 degrees when I walked out the door this morning. The ground still isn't frozen, so i'm still diggin !
