I thought I would share these up coming lecture dates with everyone:
SUNDAY LECTURE SERIES 2011-2012 AT THE CORSON POLEY CENTER
457 High Street, Burlington
2-4 PM Followed by Q&A and light refeshments.
-February 19: Dr. David Orr: Archaeology at Timbuctoo
-Mar 18: Sydney Cruice: Joseph W. Clifton and How I Solved the Mystery (a genealogical story)
-April 15: Betsy Estilow: Women in the Civil War
-May 20: John Brady: Brewery restoration in Burlington City
-June 17: Dr. Richard Veit: Archaeology at Fieldsboro
I've worked with Dr. Orr and Dr. Veit. Both are very knowledgeable but I've only seen Dr. Veit speak before and he is an excellent speaker. I'm sure Dr. Orr is good as well.
