A half, three different quarters, and five dimes. Unfortunately they are saltwater beach coins, so they are mostly in poor shape. I tried cleaning them with electrolysis with mixed success. The half and the standing liberty quarter look pretty good. The Barber is 1893 and looked better before cleaning, though very dark. Also found this key, a few sinkers, a dozen wheat pennies, and a bunch of highly corroded clad. Nothing spectacular, but it was fun digging them all, and it sure beat being in the office.

Wow! That is an impressive pile of silver. Those look like the typical beach silver I find.
That pile is what I haven't cleaned. Saved from about 1992 or so. An ex detecting partner of mine, built a crude but effective reverse electolisis machine back in 1985, that I have stashed away.
All of this is from salt water, which is where I find the most gold and silver.

I am in the process of trying to clean silvers in he same condition (salt water) I mixed 1 -part Red Devil Lye with 3-parts water. caution-be sure not to get it on you! And slowly pour Lye into water.(NOT WATER INTO LYE) and I have one of those store bought jewelry soaking containers that has the basket in it. After washing it out clean I put lye solution in it. Soak coins in it and check every day or 2 and wipe on paper towel. The crud comes off slowly but surely. I does not seem to hurt coins at all. Give it a try. Wear rubber gloves and goggles!

Thanks for the suggestion. It is always good to have options. Beach silver tends to be very dark, so anything that would lighten them up a bit is helpful.

Thanks! These coins looked at lot worse originally. I added a picture from before my cleaning attempt. They look better now, but still rough. View attachment 2070199
