I went for about four hours today. I found some nice relics. The Iron thing with the the guy on the front is marked Magic Bank. No there wasnt any coins in it or around it. I Found a 1899 V nickel and a 24 buffalo. I found the buffalo the day before at the same spot. When I first started hunting this spot all I could find coin wise was indians. Now all I have been finding is nickels. I most of found a dozen indians and 6 or 7 older nickels . I only got 1 silver at that spot. I like the dog tag its dated 1934. i found the collar first , It has a brass tag on it inscribed with the owners name and address. I wasnty sure what it was till I found the tag right next to it. When i got home i saw the inscription it reads GL VANDER WATER 7 GIDNEY WAY NEWBURGH NY. i think thats pretty cool. I want to find the house out of curiosity. Its not far from where i was. The little tea kettle is marked on the bottom ODELL SANATORIUM. The first time I went to this spot I was with bassman and he found a spoon that was from the sanatorium. Im going to look it up i think he told me it was in newburgh. I found a dump site down an embankment and grabbed the broken tea cup to date the dump site. I also found a 65 clad quarter and three memorials from the 60s. Overall not a bad hunt!!
