I got a call from the Fiend this morning and he told me he was heading to the camp spot. This is where he found the five silver the other day. Immediately, visions of silver coins emerging from the soil and leaf litter filled my head and so off I went to the spot. TreasureFiend got a nice find within the first five minutes (I'll let him tell his story), but after that, nice finds were far and few in between. I pulled out a lot of foil clumps and beaver tails. We both picked up a few Scout buttons each. I ended up with three nickels (1943 S silver war nickel), 1964, 1966) and a 1944 D wheat. At least silver happened! I can't complain. The bugs have let down a bit but now the spiders have constructed thier invisible webs that I kept walking into. Until later................
