A place I've hunted probably 30 times came up with a big surprise! 30 minutes into the hunt a few feet away from a large tree was a good hit a 6 inches. After digging the plug I put my Pro Pointer into the hole and retrieve a crusty wheat penny, put the penny in my pouch and check the hole again with the Pro Pointer and get another sound and vibration with the probe. I put my Lesche digger blade in behind the signal and pops out a big dark grey disk!:headbang: 6 inches deep with out comes a 1919-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar! I was stoked!:hello2: last time I dug a Walker Half was back in September of 2015.

Continuing with the hunt over the next 4 hours I dig out 2 silver dimes, 3 more wheat pennies, and a trade token! It was a great day! Nice way to end the year!

Wow! What a nice early "S" mint Walking Liberty half dollar! That's a keeper for sure!

Congrats on the big silver....she's a beauty!

Nice cluster of silver coins! That walking half is a very nice big silver find, congratulations! :occasion14:

Awesome CHF, any hunt where you pull a silver is a good day, when you pull 3 it becomes a great day. :headbang: Way to go ending the season with a bang.

That's an awesome 1919 S half! A much scarcer date with at least XF details if not AU! That's an easy $100+ coin. Way to go!

Awesome!! I love seeing the photos with the background in them. I always wonder where the cool coins are found.

excellent way to end a year :hello2:

Great find. I have never dug a walker....

Sounds like you've got a great stand by place to hunt! Thanks for sharing and grats to ya.
I wish I had a place that I've searched 30 times that gives three silvers in an outing.....Yes, just a bit jelly....

Amazing detail on that walker to be as old as it is. Congrats!

Very well done. The half is really sweet.

That was a very nice hunt, I'm envious.

Actually wait... 1919S goes up to $1000 in XF condition and $1700 in AU. You definitely want to get a professional conservationist for this one. Talk to a coin dealer and see if you can get them to help submit it to someone like NGC Conservation. This could be a $500+ coin if professionally conserved and maybe even a $1,000 coin. DON'T try to clean it yourself or do ANYTHING to the coin till you talk to a pro!
