Did some digging at some foundations today, the Batwing buckle was my vary first target, then it became open season for flat buttons, 11 in total. every mouth watering signal for an hour was a flat button. The 2 large cents were in the same hole, 1830 & 1834, the oddball coin seems to be 1 franc from 1944. i have no idea what the flat spoon thingy is, or the U shaped black metal thingy. The lighter and the 27merc were found on a path, both less then 4 inches down. Also found a watch fob, suspender buckle and machinery tag. All in all? id say i had a pretty good day.
enjoy the pictures.

A nice variety of things. I believe the buttons and a fob deserve some cleaning and close-ups :icon_sunny:.

well, im sure i could get it to work, but this thing has been sitting in the ground for who knows how long. probably better to just leave as is.

WAIT!!! STOP THE PRESSES! I think I might have a good guess for your spoon thingy. The top of a shield from a knife or sword. The slot in the middle of it is where the blade fit in.....wuddaya think?
