Signals getting really tough to find at my newest colonial sites lately. Tonight I got a buckle chape, a few tombacs(one still has a shank), complete two piece button, openwork button(only my second ever) and another decent KG II Hibernia. Also got the pewter octagon flower button from an even older site across the street from my house the other day. First button of this shape Ive found too

Nice, keeps on giving!

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Depending on its size & shank shape (if squared off), the octagonal 'button' is one half of a 18th C cuff-link.

Might be tough but they're still producing, well done.

That button/cuff link looks like it may be a Tudor Rose variety.

Too big for a cuff button and back sticks out where shank should be

Yes. Found quite a few with this motif. Id say late 17th early 18th

Its mid-late 18th C, & being a button is rarer than the cufflinks. I've only got a couple.

sweet finds, thanks for posting

More nice oldies. Good work Toasted. That Tudor rose jumped right out at me. Very nice find.
