I hit a community sale yesterday with mom and struck out at every opportunity. At the last sale I finally found something worth digging into.
The seller had a large tub of jewelry but pulled it because people were getting grabby. Since I was the only person there, I was allowed access to the tub and pulled out what is seen below.
I was really happy to find the Pink collar stays. I think people thought it was Victoria’s Secret “Pink” and not Thomas Pink who is known for their impeccable English tailoring. It my favorite brand of shirt due to the sizes fitting me properly.
When I got home to do some looking, I saw that Thoma Pink offers the collar “bones” in plastic and sterling. Mine were metal but had a very dark, palladium like finish. Out comes the polish and what do you know, hallmarks showing 925!
The watches will need a good cleaning. All are gold filled and the pocket watch is a Hampden Molly Stark movement. No case but I might have one in my collection. The pearls are freshwater with a gold plated sterling clasp.
