Anyone know of any good uses for an junk LG flip phone?

That's dedication sweeping through the lakeshore trash. I'd move up to the camping areas after a few lbs of those sinkers. grrrr.
I like getting those sinkers. Each one usually takes less than 20 seconds to dig up, many are right on top. On EBAY, lead sinkers go from .70 to 1.00 per oz. I have a nice melter and molds. If I scrap lead I get .50/LB... on EBAY it's .70/ounce.

The thing I hate the most are beaver tails without the ring part. I started not digging 55 or 47 signals which eliminate MOST of the pull tabs. 55 is the pull tab with tail attached, 47 is just the beaver tail or a split shot sinker.

Yes my fingers are toast from too much digging, too much limestone, too much metal, too many cleaners, and just too much of too much.

Good find! I like the way you hunt! My wife hunts the same way. She digs it all but in the last 20yrs she has dug a cigar box of good rings.

The only reason I can do this is I have mastered digging things up fast with a screwdriver in the park I hunt in. If I had to dig big plugs in grassy areas rest assured I'd be digging a whole lot less targets.
