i found it in a field next to where an old hall once stood.there are houses there now where the hall was but the field was still there.also found a dozen or so musket balls and a few coins,nothing before 1800 yet but theres time.
as for the football lol.i was born a liverpool fan in 1969.check what man u have won in comparison to liverpool,they are not even close.

i'm not sure what he is meant to be,it's the first and only tamper i have found(only found it last week)
it looks like a back pack over his shoulder.he has a pair of bloomers on(like black adder lol).i'm sure with some careful cleaning it would come up a treat but thats out of my league.
