Hello Everyone,
I visited a local Farm field 10 miles from my house today to see what could be found. Now, this farm field has been hit with everyone with a metal detector, most if not all hunt without permission. They just show up and hunt…? I did the right thing and asked the farmer for permission, he gave me the go ahead to hunt all of his fields.
I again, used the Minelab Explorer SE “Slow and Low” to work these well hunted fields looking for the deep stuff most people will miss by virtually running across the fields. Everything found was a measured 10” - 11” deep, the large buckle was about 12.5”deep. The machine was set up for Maximum depth: A Wide Open Screen (no nulling, but very busy audio), Sensitivity=29 Auto (sometimes manual), noise cancelled and dropped two channels.
Finds:
Coins: Toasted Large Cent (Always are) and a 1912D Barber Dime
Relics: 2 nice flat buttons and 2 cool buckles
The second photo was all the other "interesting" finds.
Thank You for Looking.
