Stopped by my credit union to dump my dimes (skunk box) and though I would ask about some pennies for the weekend. Teller says "some couple just dropped off $150 in pennies earlier in the week. I buy $50 and head home. All copper, not one penny older than 1979. I am heading back in the morning to get the rest. The ones I got were all 59-79, with the exception of 8 wheaties. Hopefully they rolled them separate.
I took the time to separate them by decade and re-roll them. I will be sure to see if they cashed in anything else for sure. Just thought I would share with you all. I'm not big into pennies, but they were actually fun to go through.
