Best conditioned hammered coin I've had up for a while this one so very pleased tonight with today's outing. How that one little find or lack there of can make or break a session.
Found in West Yorkshire, England on old pasture onky 3-4 inches down.
It's been a great permission and I've had 5 other Edward I coins amongst other silvers and relics from there.
Hadn't paid it a visit either for a while thinking I'd pretty much exhausted the place but just goes to show, never say never as nowhere is "done"

Agreed, one find like this would make a hunt for me. For the last few hunts, I have found nothing of note. Had a good time being out, though.
