Nice Lid

Howdy All. Hunted the new site again today that has been producing nice stuff but couldn't find a lot. Did manage to net a '56 Wheat and this nice lid from Dr. Sayman Products.

This Sayman guy was quite an entrepreneur, starting from nothing, building a soap and medicine biz around 1900. After he became successful he donated a 2400 acre park to the state of Missouri.

When I was a kid I remember my mom had some thick, smelly salve called "Sayman's Salve" that we used. Wonder if it was invented by this guy's company?
