Nice finds! pictures

I go to the bank to pick up my box of halves. When i ask for the box she brings it out and says "i know you're also intrested in the large dollar coins, I have a few if you want them." she comes walking back and lays down four morgans one peace and three ikes . I gladly handed over the eight dollars.

Found 9 40%ers a franklin and a 1992s proof! i will post a picture when i get home from work.

Db23, i couldn't believe it! i couldn't pull the 8 dollars out fast enough. i'm thinking about bringing the teller a gift card, but i dont want to tip her off that these might be worth something.

Box of donuts is better...it's a nice way to say "thanks for looking out for me" without saying "thanks for giving me some fairly valuable coins".

Hey Nice score Raulduke... So check this out you guys, I had a credit union who was really taking care of me a while back (before I had to give them a break due to a 20K+ skunk streak on halves). So anyways, they were really helping me out, and I told them I was gonna bring them a "treat" next time for being so helpful.... So nextime, I go in there with a 20 dollar gift card to Beans and Brews, and a big bag of chocolates..... Well, a few weeks later, the two main tellers were like, "hey, weren't you going to bring us a treat?" I seriously thought they were joking.... Come to find out, the manager who I gave them to (who rarely did any of the "heavey lifting") She took the whole bag of candy, and all of the gift card, and didnt even tell the other tellers.... So be careful that this doesnt happen to you..... It was cool watching these other 3 tellers turn fuming red, as we all figured out what happened.

An impaired 90% 1992 proof is worth $12-20 at current silver price...depending on the buyer.
