Life giveth and life taketh away - in this case in reverse. First, I had a bit of a tough day, nothing major, but so I decided to go on an arrowhead hunt not thinking I'd find anything because it's not often I do, but mainly to get some air, hear the running water and relax at end of day. Well this sucker shows up just laying on top of the ground. It was a joyful end to the day, sort of...more in a moment. I think it washed down the hill above as there was a big wet messy dirt hill above it. Really something and probably my best one (only ever found one other and that was a bigger biface. This was in north Florida west of Jacksonville. Would really appreciate info on it such as possible age and anything else. Also, what type of stone is it? Thank you. (So then life tooketh away again, because in all the excitement somewhere between the river, the high grass, my car I somehow lost my phone - spent til dark looking for it and stupidly didn't have a way to locate it online. So, it was an expensive mistake and got a new phone today, but all worth it and a reminder that just when it's lousy, things turn around and get better and then be careful because they could go south again!)
