Several years ago, My friend and I were metal detecting in a plowed field that was an agriculltural fairground
until 1910, when it closed. We hadn't had any luck and were about to leave and headed back toward my van. I still had my detector on and was waving it on the way. I got a nice signal and kicked the dirt aside and went over the spot, again, and no signal. I went over a dirt clod next to the spot and my detector sounded off, again. I broke open the clod and there was a nice 20 cent piece. I had never seen one, before. Over the years, I have found numerous 1800's silver and Indian Head cents, there.

I was lucky enough to be the second 20 cent digger and make banner in May of 2010 . I thought it was a quarter . Very excited when it turned out to be a twenty center . CMD
