I have what I believe is an authentic Van Gogh painting. It depicts a bridge, and when compared to Van Gogh's sketch Bridge Near Herengracht and Prinses it becomes clear that these two pictures are of the exact same location and by the exact same artist, just from a different point of reference. I am including a split screen detail of both my painting and the known Van Gogh sketch. Compare the branches of the trees in both pictures, and the houses in the background. Look at the similarities to Van Gogh's Bridge on the Seine at Asnieres, and to the houses in the background of Cafe Terrace at Night. Look at the signature, compared to known Van Gogh signatures. What do you guys think? First picture is my painting, followed by the signature on my painting, followed by known Van Gogh signatures, then known Van Gogh works, finally the split screen study.

6 out of the 7 masterpieces that resurfaced first here in this forum included a description of the canvas/board it was painted on (on the other it was clear enough to us all just by the picture of the paint). So purely from a statistical perspective that would probably be good to know.

Lol some of you take yourselves way too seriously. Public service reminder: you all are some grown *** adults on a treasure hunting website. Lighten the heck up. Feel free to be the clown that you are and inform the discussion board Gestapo that a newbie is making dangerous comments and is still within his first six or seven posts. Bye Felicia.

Yes Felicia but as you may not have noticed when you googled but we are the worlds largest collection of Treasure "hunters" ever assembled in the world. The "What is it"section has solved thousand upon thousands of items alone. It is unequaled.
Even the Gestapo are seasoned hunters. We do moderate mostly because new members do not read the rules. I am sure everyone wishes your painting is real for you but in reality if you are posting it here for verification you are not taking it seriously with that signature of "that" artist and need to take it to people who can study the canvas, paints and style of that particular artist. Many of our finds are examined by experts in person in archeology or antiquities.
I wish you luck but see this post going down hill.
