New to this forum, been looking to get into metal detecting. Ive dug mostly bottles up over the years. but would like to get more tips and references to good metal detectors. just started searching this forum. Im in North Idaho.

Both me and my wife did 20yrs in the Air Force. Im semi-retired where I pick up odd jobs here and there, and sell some woodcrafts or do construction jobs as I can. Other than that to fill my time, we go hunting and fishing a lot.

Welcome Aboard wilcam47! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - members may have more success helping you (your location may help etc.)...
Yeah just trying to get the hang of this forum, I updated my location state. Theres a lot to navigate in this forum. But tons of interesting stuff.
