Newbie question

On some products like sluices, tromell, classifiers etc. why don't they use some spray on bed liner like rhino or other . On the back side might add some life to the item? Or would the extra weight out weigh " see what I did there" the benefits?

I think the extra weight would be too much. Alot of the time you are totin your equipment a good distance and you want to be lite. On things like trommels I don't think it would hold up to the constant beating it would get. I had a big truck that was coated under side and just gravel roads beat the crap out of it. Coating classifiers would change the mesh size unless manufactured to take the coating thickness into account. Probably would hold up on sluices a little better but there is the weight thing. Good question.
