Welcome to the site. Nice finds in there. The joy is still in the hunt. Good Luck and Happy Hunting

Welcome to TreasureNet, it looks as if you’re using the Equinox 800. The Equinox is a fantastic machine, I am sure that you will be posting silver coins before long! Good luck and happy hunting!

gotta start somewhere, just keep at it and persistence will pay off, especially with decent locations. learn your machine and it will teach you as well.

Welcome. Enjoy the time detecting, finds will come.

Keep on swinging....you'll swing over some cool stuff in time...

As one member posted above, you have to find joy in the hunt. I have had days when I found almost nothing, and then will have a day when out of nowhere comes a heavy, man's gold wedding band in the sand on the beach. Metal detecting is a great hobby in that you can be out in nature, choose to be alone or surrounded by people, use one's knowledge of history and science, and have the potential to find the discovery of a lifetime in the next five minutes. It is the promise of discovery that keeps me going. Good luck to you!

Welcome to Tnet & the hobby.:hello:

Welcome to Tnet. Good luck out there.

Welcome to tnet from Upstate NY, Nice hunt, you did well because every item in the photo is a teaser for something better, the better you learn your machine, the better the finds, GL & HH

Augusta is an old frontier town, older than Wichita. Today I found my 1st square nail along with 11 more coins, in half the time, 1 hour &14 holes. Found square nail in same hole as 2010 quarter. Woo hoo, good trip. I didnt travel more 100' today. There is more to had here. 20190817_094043.jpg

Oldest coin in today's finds is 1965 nickel. Most these were pretty shallow in local park.
