Went out for about an hour and a half after work today. Went into the woods and didn't find anything but trash. I headed back down and right beside the road I got a pretty trashy/foil/nickel signal. Dug down about 3 inches and there was my first New York state seal button. It's beat up. Dent in on the front and missing the shank. Now with my blood flowing I take it slow and a mere foot away I get a nice signal. 60's and 70's on my F75. I dig a plug, still in the hole. Locate with my propointer and about 8 inches down I found my first Virginia button!! Couldn't believe it! The VA button is in nice shape. Everything intact with a back mark of Canfield & Brother - Baltimore. Not bad at all for a short hunt after work!! Thanks for looking and HH!

Even though I hunt in Virginia, I never thought I would find a va button.
