New White's Spectra V3i ??

OK, not sure I heard this right but has anyone heard of a new model Spectra V3i coming out soon? The "i" is an updated model....

Please let me know, I'm ready to buy!

A friend of mine just got the V3, very nice display on it.
Wonder if there is an HBO mod. Be great to watch movies while detecting!

I called Whites today... they said they are being shipped to distributors as I write this... so we should see them soon... I too am waiting to buy one! Hurry Hurry Hurry!!!

The good news is that if you own a V3, you can have it upgraded with the V3i features for $99.99 plus $25 shipping. It's like getting a new detector for $100! For those of you who purchase a V3 recently (Nov 1st or later) the upgrade is free. You will only pay for shipping.

Those of us on the East Coast will have to wait a few more weeks until the service centers are set up for the upgrade. I have the info if anyone is interested. Just send me a message.

Howdy Folks!
I got the very first V3i upgrade in civilian hands anywhere. My V3 was in for a problem
when I got word of the V3i upgrade and asked about it. They hadn't started doing them
yet, but seeing as my detector was already there, I got the upgrade done. First one anywhere
aside from developers or testers. First one in the world upgraded for a regular customer.

And I am proud to have it. It is a fantastic upgrade. As good as the V3 was, the V3i is
even better. More stable, quieter, and with additional new features like Polar Plot analysis
screen, the ability to tell the machine which coil is on the end of the stick, and others that
make the machine even better than it was.

The V3i upgrade, in my opinion, is worth whatever the cost of upgrade.
