Did you buy your V3 after Nov 1, 2009? If so you can get a free (almost) upgrade from Whites to V3i. I talked with Mary at the factory and she stated that all I need to do was send in the box and the cordless headset with a check for $25.00 (return shipping & insurance) to the factory address or an address in IL on the website. Just make sure you put "UPDATE I" some place after the address so they can direct it to the right technicians. However, Mary also stated that I should wait about three weeks before I send it to them, because of the current backlog.

PS: save hard copies of your custom programs....they all disapear with the V3i upgrade.

I can't believe I missed that forum. Why wouldn't it be linked from the main detecting forum page under the brands?

I found it by accident when I yahoo'ed for V3 programs. I think we probably need to switch to that forum. They are just getting in the latest tests of the new V3i programs by some of the guys that had the first upgrades.
